Palembang city of Pempek

Ampera
Palembang as the capital of South Sumatra province, has a lot of potential for cultural tourism assets. The town is 13 centuries old, many left traces a fascinating history to be traced. Chronologically, it's heritage dating back to the kingdom of Sriwijaya, Palembang Darussalam Sultanate, until the Dutch colonial era. First urban planning during general Srivijaya in Musi River meanders in the form of natural levees or elevated land. This shows that Sri Jayanasa put residential location in accordance with the geographical conditions of Palembang.
